Catalogue: No. 3, Winter 2011
The months seem to have sped by since we produced the last catalogue, and here we are again with Christmas only a few months away. To us, as usual, this new catalogue has been an eye-opener. It’s made us want to go on an immediate book-buying spree before battening down the hatches against what promises to be a hard winter. When times are tough there’s really nothing as cheering as a good read.As you know, one of our aims has been to make it easy to explore a single subject by grouping relevant fiction and non-fiction titles together. Books by and about Evelyn Waugh, on English country houses, Scottish history, classic cookery, the Spanish Civil War, eighteenth-century France, New York, great plant hunters, aunts in literature . . . these are just some of the topics featured in the following pages. Suddenly, despite everything, the world seems full of possibilities. We do hope you’ll feel the same and that if you’re tempted to buy you’ll do so through us.
Please use the categories listed on the left to browse the catalogue and buy online. If you would like to be sent a printed copy of our catalogue please get in touch.
